<h1>Midland Residential Services</h1>
<p><img src="http://67.20.95.194/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/ms_house.jpg" alt="ms_house" title="ms_house" width="200" height="139" style="margin-left:12px; margin-bottom:8px;" class="alignright size-full wp-image-891" />Midland Adult Services (MAS) Residential Services began in 1999 with the opening of a group home for 5 men. Four additional group homes have since opened, four homes are located in Branchburg and one in Neshanic. MAS Residential Services now provides supervised housing to a total of 24 individuals. On site support services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.</p>
<p>MAS group homes are licensed by the <a onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ddd/home/index.html');" href="http://www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ddd/home/index.html">New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities</a>. Annual inspections are conducted by State licensing personnel to insure that the homes meet all the Standards detailed in the <a onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outgoing/www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ool/documents/10_44B_effective_04_13_06.pdf');" href="http://www.state.nj.us/humanservices/ool/documents/10_44B_effective_04_13_06.pdf">New Jersey Administrative Code 10:44</a>A.</p>
<p>MAS strives to maintain the highest quality in its residential programs. Systematic assessments are conducted by outside consultants. Quality of Life surveys are sent to all staff and all families/guardians annually, parent/guardian meetings are held quarterly with the Program Director and frequent on-site spot checks are conducted by management to ensure quality services in each of our homes.</p>
<p>All of the activities that take place in the typical family home also take place in our MAS group homes. Individual residents have responsibility for their own rooms and assigned chores in the home. Recreational opportunities include frequent visits to the community, attending amateur and professional sporting events, plays, other performances and musical presentations. We also provide residents with opportunities for individual recreational outings, depending on their interests and preferences.</p>
<p>Regular events and gatherings provide the residents and their families, guardians and friends with opportunities to network and expand their social horizons.</p>
<p>Each resident has an Individualized Habilitation Plan (IHP) which is reviewed and revised on an annual basis, to ensure that appropriate goals and objectives are established and to help each individual attain his/her highest level of independence.</p>
<p>Training in activities of daily living (ADL) is provided as needed. Appropriate medical care, arranging transportation and supportive counseling are included in the services provided to residents.</p>

width="200" height="139">Midland Adult Services (MAS) Residential Services began
in 1999 with the opening of a group home for 5 men. Four additional group homes
have since opened, four homes are located in Branchburg and one in
Neshanic. MAS Residential Services now provides supervised housing to a total of
24 individuals. On site support services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days
a year.</P>
